Other activities before the board included:
• The commission voted unanimously to accept Tom Junk as its chairman and Tom Tepper as its vice chairman for calendar year 2003.
• The commission forwarded a recommendation of approval to the Board of Zoning Appeals for a Special Use Permit for an efficiency apartment on an application by Armin and Johanna Fidler.
• John Tippett, Executive Director of the Friends of the Rappahannock, made a presentation on low-impact development/ bioretention practices.
• The Planning Commission will host a forum on the Comprehensive Plan Review on Thursday, Feb. 27 at 7:30 p.m. at the Washington Fire Hall.
