New belly dancing class started
A new tribal belly dancing series of classes taught by Charmaine Lee has started and will go on for six weeks until Feb. 25. Classes are on Tuesday night at the Washington Town Hall from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The cost is $15 per class or $72 for the series. Bring a mat and scarves. Call 987-8219 for more information.
After school drama classes begin
The Rainbow Bridge Youth Theatre is registering afterschool drama classes beginning the first week of February at the Rappahannock High School. Tuesdays classes are for ages 6-12; Wednesdays are ages 13-17. Contact is Jean Elizabeth 987-9727.
Adult education classes begin
The Rappahannock Public Schools adult education winter classes begin with six-week sessions on computers (intermediate level) and on drawing for all levels. Sessions are on Thursdays, starting Feb. 6 from 6:30-8:30p.m. There will be Saturday workshops starting Feb. 8 with line dancing, Feb. 15 with classes on art, computers, stress management and finances. On Feb. 22, there is a class on couples dancing and on March 1, one on brunches and teas. Contact is Jean Elizabeth 987-3367.

The Rappahannock Free Clinic, a local operation of the Fauquier Free Clinic Inc. will be open on Jan. 29. Patient registration is from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock Public Health Department Building. For information call 347-0394.
RAAC movie on Feb. 7
“My Big Fat Greek Wedding" will be shown at The Theatre on Gay Street in Washington on Friday, Feb. 7 at 8 p.m. It is a charming and very funny movie and is being brought back by RAAC for the second showing by popular demand. Tickets are $6 adults; $4 students.
