Park 7-3 and George Mason 121 last week to improve to 8-0 in the Bull Run District and 13-1 overall.
A win this week clinches a tie for the regular season title in the Bull Rim District while two wins would make the Lady Panthers the District regular season champion.
The team rallied from a 3-2 deficit against Manassas Park to score five runs in the bottom of the fifth and sixth innings to get the win against the Cougars. The offense came alive for the Lady Panthers against George Mason as the team pounded out enough hits to score twelve runs against the Mustangs. Varsity girls’ soccer
The varsity girls’ soccer team split two contests for the week pounding Manassas Park 8-0 but dropping a 6-1 decision to George Mason. The team’s record stands at 2-6 in the Bull Run District and 3-9 overall. The team travels to Brentsville on Thursday evening and finishes out its season with a home contest against Clarke County on May 13. It locks as though the team will enter the Bull Run Tbumament as the fifth seed.
