Summer Youth Program for Amissville Baptist Church. All youth, from 7th grade to 12th grade are invited to attend. There will be an information meeting for the youth and their parents on June 1 at 5:30 pm.all of the summer events will be announced.
There will be a weekend meeting at Amissville Full Gospel Church with singing and preaching featuring the Millikin family from Oklahoma on May 9 and May 10 at 7:30 p.m. and on May 11 at 10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Pastor J. T. Pittman invites everyone.
The RAA held a full schedule of baseball games this weekend. The National Anthem was played at 9 a.m. and the Mayor League teams of Indians vs. Cardinals, Braves vs. Red Sox and the T-ball teams of Diamondbacks vs. Twins took the first swings and pitches.
At 11:30 a.m. the Astros played the Pirates in the Minor League division and the Braves took on the Royals in T-ball. At 1 p.m. it was the T-ball Cubs vs. Yankees, and the Babe Ruth
