Mary P. Marocchi

An applicant must be a resident of Rappahannock County, a member of this year’s graduating class (home schooled or other schools) be accepted at an accredited four year school, have a need for financial assistance and be recommended by three non-related residents of Rappahannock County.

The Rappahannock Garden Club will also offer a $1,000 scholarship grant in memory of Mary P. Marocchi. This grant was given by Rear Admiral J. Marocchi and family.

Mrs. Marocchi was trained as a registered nurse and served in the U. S. Navy during World War II. She was discharged as a Lieutenant, U. S. Navel Reserve in April 1946.
