The scholarship grant is being offered to a graduating senior of Rappahannock who is selecting a career in nursing or some other area of medicine.

In order to receive this scholarship the recipient must be a resident of Rappahannock County, a member of this year’s graduating class, public, private or home schooled, be accepted at an accredited four year college or university, have need for financial assistance and be recommended by three non-related residents of Rappahannock County.

Applications for the scholarships are available at the guidance department of the Rappahannock County High School or from Mrs. Newbill Miller at 675-3691.

The deadline for returning the applications is May 28.
