We’re glad to report that Mrs. Rosie (“Sis”) Wharton has greatly improved and able to be in church on Sunday.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to many on the sick list including Daisy Lucas, Lucy Bailey, Margaret and Grat Buraker, Albert Goodall, Shelvy Frazier, Janet Peregory, Harvey Tharp, Mrs. Green, Mrs. Meade, Anna Dodson, and many others all known by our Lord.
Congratulation and best wishes for the future to Jennifer Benz, here in Boston, who is a student at American University in Washington, D. C. who made the Dean’s List for which students must earn a 3.5 grade point average. Jennifer is a senior there.
The Glass Studio in Griffinsburg, next to the “UWanna Ice Creani” store has a wide range of work which will be great for Mother’s Day and the Studio can be reached by calling 829-8738.
Meanwhile in Woodville, Daniel and Bessie Norman were given a surprise pizza party by Ken, Fran, Will, Wade and Wyatt on April 22 in honor of Daniel’s birthday.
Steve and Tferesa Norman were hosts for dinner at the Inn at Little Washington on April 29, being Bessie’s birthday. This was their first time at the Inn, an evening to remember!
