Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers on Sunday, May 11.
On Mother’s Day, the Washington Baptist Church men will provide breakfast for the women at 8:30 a.m.
A baby dedication service also will take place during the morning worship service at the church. Parents of children age two and under are invited to have their child dedicated. Call the church office at 675-3336.
The deacons of the Washington Baptist Church will meet at the church on Monday, May 12 at 7 p.m.
The Washington Baptist Church thanks all that helped in any way with its Annual Spring Event on Saturday April 26. Grandma’s Attic realized $316. All proceeds went toward the Building Fund.
David Welling of Florida State University in Tallahassee is visiting his grandmother, N Jean B. Moffett, and uncle Frank Moffett for a few days enroute to the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Welling, for the summer in Newburgh, N.Y.
