Sallie Herring Hanken, 82. of Lakeland, Fla. died on May 15 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Lakeland, Fla.
Mrs. Hanken is survived by two daughters, Betsy Murray of Sperryville and Mary Berryman of Lakeland, Fla.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond George Hanken.
A graveside service was held May 19 at Culpeper National Cemetery with Rev. Bill Harrison officiating.
