The Relay then continued with members of the 24 teams walking the track. At six o'clock food was served in the cafeteria:
Entertainment included face-painting, a DJ, dancing, karaoke, and plain old socializing and good conversation and fun.
Tbwards dark, the luminaries in honor of cancer survivors and in memory of cancer victims were placed around the track. The luminaries were lit with a small ceremony and the walking continued. Walkers frequently paused in front of the luminaries that honored their loved ones.
At 11 p.m., pizza was served. And, even through the rain, there was seldom a time when the Relay track was completely empty. There were still hardy souls at breakfast Sunday morning and at the Closing Ceremonies at 8 a.m.
