Regular, full-time position with Loudoun County's Facilities Management Division in the Department of General Services. This position will perform advanced, complex plumbing work in the installation, maintenance and repair of plumbing distribution systems, fixtures, devices and equipment and supervises the like work of multiple plumbing work crews. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive knowledge of the standard practices of the plumbing trade, the installation and maintenance of plumbing equipment and the national plumbing code; comprehensive knowledge of all stata'local laws as they relate to the enforcement of VUSBC. Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints and complex construction documents and compare them with construction in progress; possess a working knowledge of procurement policies as well as an ability to provide plan analysis' and written comments to various engineers. Qualifications: Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to an Associate's degree with course work in plumbing trades; at least 5 years experience in installing and maintaining plumbing distribution systems, fixtures, devices and equipment, and directing the work of others. Special Requirements: Valid jrrent Master's License (Plumbing) issued by the Commonwealth of VA or must be eligible to obtain within 1 year of employment; Backflow License preferred; Valid VA Driver’s License.
