“I said, ‘Ron, look at all these wrecked cars and look at the county stickers,"' Dr. Krebser recalled. Many of the stickers were of recent years, indicating the cars hadn’t been there a very long time. But the rezoning won approval from the Planning Commission and the Board of Supervisors without any action to remove the junk cars.
Asked why he is raising this issue now, Dr. Krebser was blunt in his response. He said: “I am dying. I am going to be dead in another three or four weeks. I have worked hard to keep the county looking right. We have fought many a battle....”
