PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

The Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board and the Area Agency on Aging (RRCSB-AAA) is the Area Agency on Aging serving Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison. Orange, and Rappahannock Counties. The RRCSB-AAA provides the following services using Older Americans Act funds to the older citizens of the five county area: Congregate Meals, Home Delivered Meals. Homemaker Sen/ices, Elder Abuse Prevention. Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, Legal Services, Transportation Services, Volunteer Services, Information and Assistance Services, Public Information and Education, and Emergency Services. Any qualified vendor interested in submitting a proposal on the provision of any of the above services must contact RRCSB-AAA at P.O. Box 1568, Culpeper, VA 22701 in writing by June 28, 2003 asking to be placed on the bidders list for the specific service in which interest is indicated.

The RRCSB-AAA invites interested parties to a Public Hearing scheduled for June 10, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at its main offices at 15361 Bradford Road in Culpeper During this time general information about its Area Plan for Aging Services and services provided under its Performance Contract with the Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Substance Abuse Services will be presented.
