Catherine B. Gollaher “Kitty,” 89 of Amissville passed away June 8 at her home with loving family at her side. She was bom Jan; 24, 1914 to the late Caspar Burner and Minnie Frederick Burner of Waterlick, Virginia. Mrs. Gollaher was a homemaker. She was a member of the Amissville United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. And now again there is only one set of footprints in the sand, for the Lord has taken her home. Heaven now has a special angel to sit in the beautiful flower garden where songbirds sing and butterflies light on her wings. She will be sadly missed by family & friends. She is survived by one son William Lee Gollaher, wife Virginia of Manassas, one daughter Merilee G. Poe and special son-n-law Randy of Amissville and son-n-law Lawrence Fowler of the Eastern Shore. Additional survivors include 12 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
