On my last journey to get the freezers we were confronted with individuals who scoffed at us or gave us a dirty look, or even put two fingers up like they wanted to shoot us. We as professional soldiers try to look beyond the hostility left behind from years of unforgiving rule by an atrocious dictator. We tend to look at the next generation of Iraqi citizens.
My philosophy is make the children understand. Make them understand that we as a nation are not there to take control of their country.
