Panthers 5-1. Trojan catcher Lindsay Harmon was a thorn in the Panthers side as she drove in all five Essex runs going 4 for 4 on the day.
The Lady Trojans got on the board in the first inning as Harmon drove in two runs with a two-out single. In the second inning, the Lady Panthers responded as a bunt single by Danielle Hiserman plated a run for the Lady Panthers cutting the Essex lead to 2-1. Unfortunately, it would be the only Panther run to cross the plate while Harmon continued to wreck havoc on the Panther team driving in three additional runs. The Lady Panthers finished the season with an 18-6 record and have now advanced to the state tournament two of the last three years.
