Alexander R. Strange graduated cum laude from Woodberry Forest at the school’s 112th commencement on May 24. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Philip C. Strange of Viewtown.
Mr. Strange received the William Campbell Arnold award for character, leadership and integrity. He also received the Master of Athletics award., He played three varsity sports and was captain of winter and spring track.
Mr. Strange will attend the University of Virginia.
The class of 2003 included 95 graduates each of whom will attend college. Woodberry Forest is a boys’ college preparatory school in central Virginia enrolling 376 students.
