David Edwards, director of the Northern Regional Preservation Office of the Virginia Department of Historic Resources was one of more than 225 guests attending a reception Sunday afternoon following a presentation on historic properties in Rappahannock County at The Theatre in the Town of Washington. The slide presentation in the packed theatre told how architectural historians spent the past year documenting the history of the county in its homes, mills, churches and other structures. The event was sponsored by the Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection and others.
