The Shenandoah National Park continues its summer Field Seminar schedule on Saturday, July 12 with Stories in the Rocks, a seminar about the geology of the Blue Ridge.
The park with its rocky outcrops and scenic vistas offers unique opportunities to discover area geology up close.
Dr. Robert Badger, author of "Geology Along Skyline Drive" and park rangers will spend the day with participants exploring the geologic story of Shenandoah National Park.
