ENGINEER
Announcement #CD031 The County of Fauquier is seeking qualified applicants to perform technical engineering work in the Department of Community Development. Duties include technical review of development plans and construction drawings, enforcement of applicable codes and ordinances including the bond development program and inspection of construction sites. This position also provides technical assistance to the public, development community, government officials and other agencies.
Qualified applicants should have a BS in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources, or closely related fields, supplemented by four years previous experience and/or training that includes civil engineering, land development, water resource management and erosion/sedimentation control. Prefer applicants possess and maintain valid Virginia Professional Engineering (P.E.) license. This is a full time permanent position with starting salary of $42,722 to $64,084 with excellent fringe benefits.
