Honoring the flyers and fans of flight

The National Air and Space Museum is offering people the chance to have the names of family members or friends who flew, or were mere aficionados of flight, commemorated on a Wall of Honor leading up the walkway to the new museum. Names can be placed on the memorial for as little as $100 per person and as much as $10,000—the size and amount of information provided about each honoring increasing the dollar figure. More than 40,000 people have already registered to have names added to the wall through the museum’s Web site.
