Sen. George Allen (R-Va.) has announced that the U. S. Department of Justice recently awarded Rappahannock County and 112 other jurisdictions grants for the purchase of bullet-resistant vests.
“Keeping law enforcement officers safe is key to keeping our families and communities safe,” said Allen. “It is reassuring to know that cities and counties across our Commonwealth will be privy to this new equipment. . . .”
Rappahannock received $1,470.21
