The home of Marsha Savage was the setting of a “Welcome Home” party for her son U. S. Marine Lance Corporal Corry Savage on Saturday afternoon.
Savage is an aviation mechanic on the U. S. S. Batman and had been deployed to Iraq in January. He is a 2002 graduate of Massanova Christian Academy and a grandson of the Rev. and Mrs. L. D. Savage.
Mr. . and Mrs. Buddy Grigsby returned home Saturday after spending the long fourth of July holiday with her brother, Gary Deane and his wife, in Benson, N. C.
