Shehandoah National Park Superintendent Robert Jacobsen has announced the Park’s decision to cancel further consideration of the proposed land exchange of 442acres of privately owned land in Greene County for 405 acres in Shenandoah National Park in Rappahannock and Warren counties. According to Jacobsen, the decision to abandon plans for the Jrfnd transfer came about as a result of “strongly held and eloquently expressed feelings” against the swap.
