Meanwhile, _ Mount Lebanon Baptist Church’s Vacation Bible School was a tremendous success this year. Bovs and girls of all ages drew closer to God in this fun filled week.
Attendees raised over $1,000 from their penny offerings, which will be donated to the Children’s Bible Mission Ministries. The penny offering was taken each night during VBS.
The last night of VBS, the parents were invited to an ice-cream social and given the opportunity to contribute.
The children selected the Children’s Bible Mission Ministries themselves. It ministers to kids in the public school systems of Culpeper and surrounding counties, spreading the word without interfering with the schools’ daily studies.
Mount Lebanon has a group of over 30 teens. They are going on a “mission trip” this week. Their camp (Center-Fugei will be focused on individual spiritual development.
The older teens will be serving on a community outreach (M-Fuge) mission, later this month.
When the groups return, they will be given the opportunity to report to the church
