More than one violation of the passenger restrictions or of the juvenile curfew could result in the suspension of a provisional license of up to six months.
The Department of Motor Vehicles is also changing the look of driver’s licenses and photo identifications, which will no longer display Social Security numbers. The switch to a DMV-issued customer identification number is aimed at curbing the likelihood of identify theft.
