• On Thursday, Feb. 12, the Washington Architectural Review Board (ARB) will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the Town Hall on Gay Street on an application by Robin and Donna Kevis to enclose an open porch at the Gay Street Inn. • All Rappahannock County government offices will be closed Monday, Feb. 16 in observance of Presidents’ Day. • On Monday, Feb. 16 the Rappahannock National Bank will be closed in observance of Presidents’ Day.
• All Department of Motor Vehicles customer service centers will be closed on Monday, Feb. 16 in observance of Presidents’ Day.
• Rapidtran transportation services will not operate on Monday, Feb. 16 in observance of President’s Day. • On Monday, Feb. 16 Rappahannock County public schools will be open— make-up day. • On Tuesday, Feb. 17 the Board of Supervisors and the Rappahannock County School Board will hold a joint meeting and work session on the proposed capital expansion project at 7 p.m. at the Rappahannock County High School auditorium. The School Board’s architects will make a presentation.
