owners we arrived to find a large tree blown down in the front yard. As we pondered what to do, a couple walked into the yard with an axe and saw. These were our nearby neighbors, Ida and Jim Cornell, who said they were there to help. Thus began lifelong friendships which included adults, children, and assorted dogs and cats.
Their influence was and still is a major force in my life.
