George Everett Kidwell, Sr., 80, of Amissville died Feb. 4 at Oak Springs Comprehensive Care Center in Warrenton.
He was born in Marshall, Va., on Jan. 25, 1924.
Mr. Kidwell served in the U. S. Army during World War II.
He was a life-time member of the Amissville Ruritans and a member of the Amissville Baptist Church. He enjoyed voluriteering with the Special Olympics and had worked with the Amissville Rescue Squad.
Mr. Kidwell is survived by his wife of 62 years, Edna Elizabeth Swink Kidwell, two sons, Thomas Paul Kidwell of Sandy Level, Va., and George Everett Kidwell, Jr. of Reston,
