When the Rappahannock News visited last week, the classroom was a beehive of activity with students working in teams preparing Iranian desserts such as “Sohaan-e Asali” and “Baagh-Lava” for a Global Spotlight program sponsored by Headwaters.
Dressed in white jackets and chef's caps, the students looked like the aspiring chefs they are. They were going about their chores in a large commercial kitchen with dispatch.
