Frances H. Atwood

Family in Washington

Frances Hester Atwood, 91, of Luray died Feb. 7 at Page Memorial Hospital.

She was born Aug. 19, 1912 to the late Charles Austin Bradley and the late Nannie Estella (Sedwick) Bradley.

Mrs. Atwood was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin William Atwood and a siscer, Mildred Sours.

Mrs. Atwood is survived by three daughters, Doris M. Burke of Luray, Lois J. Kilby of Fairfax and Roberta E. Jenkins of Washington.

Additional survivors include 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, three step-grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren.

A funeral service was held Feb. 10 at Bradley Funeral Home, Inc. in Luray with Rev. Kirby L. Shenk officiating. Interment followed in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Luray.
