Margy White, near Sperryville, saw a Belted Kingfisher flying around and around her frozen pond. She was asking the appropriate question: “What is there for that guy to eat?” Kingfishers are exclusively fish eaters.
Donna Kern added, as one of many bird sightings, the Screech Owl (Red Phase), that nests on her property, and then she verified it with a digital photo.
