owned and operated Wines Construction in Front Royal for over 40 years, and was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Front Royal. He served as deacon and trustee for many years.
Mr. Wines was preceded in death by one daughter, Joan Marie Wines, a granddaughter, Jennifer Wines and a sister, Mary Wines Bolt.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby Campbell Wines, three sons, Albert E. Wine of Winchester, Ollie Wines and James Wines both from Chester Gap; and four daughters, Jean Wines, Judy Chrisman, Shirley Smoot and Janet Wines all of Chester Gap.
Additional survivors include nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held Feb. 10 at the First Assembly of God Church in Front Royal, with the Rev. David Sterling officiating. Interment followed in the Prospect Hill Cemetery in Front Royal.
