Music of the Benny Goodman era comes to The Theatre at Washington on Saturday, Feb. 21 when the Brooks Tegler Quartet plays a tribute to the Benny Goodman Trio and Quartet in a concert at 8 p.m.

The performance features the music of the 1930s and recalls some of that era’s greatest jazz musicians with Joe Midiri on clarinet as Benny Goodman, Brooks Tegler on drums as Gene Krupa, Paul Midiri on vibes as Lionel Hampton, and Larry Eanet on piano as Teddy Wilson.

The show is produced and narrated by broadcaster, writer, and musician John Tegler, whose syndicated radio show “Jazz Straight Ahead" is heard on various stations in the eastern United States.
