“01 Diz,” a one actor play based on the life and times of pitching great “Dizzy” Dean, returns to The Theatre in Little Washington on Saturday, April 24 at 8 p.m. It premiered at The Theatre last year.

The show, created and performed by Ben Jones was featured at the National Baseball Hall of Fame in October as part of its World Series Gala, and will return to Cooperstown in June as part of the Hall of Fame’s 65th Anniversary Celebration.

“Dizzy Dean’s life and career is a classic rags to riches American story,” says Rappahannock resident Jones, a former Congressman who played “Cooter” on the hit television show “Dukes of Hazzard.”
