‘Spring Event’
on April 17
The Washington Baptist Church will hold its annual “Spring Event” on Saturday, April 17 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Being offered to the community are a Grandma’s Attic (yard sale), baked goods and a hamburger and hot dog lunch. The Grandma’s Attic and baked goods sale will be held in the church Fellowship Hall. The meal will be held in the yard of the courthouse grounds and will include organic Kobe beef donated by Sunnyside Farms. The proceeds from this event will go toward the Church Building Fund. Anyone wishing to donate yard sale items to the church should call the office at 675-3336. Everyone is invited.
Special service
The Flint Hill United Methodist Church will hold a special service on Sunday, April 18 at 6 p.m. Evangelist David Clanagan will present music, songs and the message. Everyone is welcome. Easter Camp meeting
