As this is ray first column, Td like to introduce myself. I moved to Sperryville last September with my daughter. We wanted to spend a year in the country and be closer to family on the East coast. We come from Carpinteria, Ca., a small beach town 80 miles north of Los Angeles. The county has taken hold of our hearts, and we have decided to stay on here.
The focus of my column will be business, commerce, farming, arts, children’s activities, public services and all the varied and rich elements our community and its people have to offer. Please send me your news, ideas or announcements at mjenmill@aol.com.
