Democratic Caucus
On Saturday, April 17, all Rappahannock Democrats are encouraged to participate in the Democratic Presidential Caucus at 12 noon at The Theatre at Washington to elect three delegates and one alternate to both the 7th Congressional District Democratic Convention and the 2004 Virginia Democratic State Convention. Participation is open to all Democrats who are registered voters in Rappahannock County. Doors open at 11 a m. for registration and close promptly at 12 noon for the start of the Caucus. Yoga classes/neiv schedule
There is a change in the spring schedule of yoga classes at Sun and Moon Studio Rappahannock which began April 12 and last until June 23. Monday classes remain the same. Thursday classes have been changed to Wednesday from 5:45-7:15 p.m. Classes are held at Belle Meade Bed and Breakfast Schoolhouse. FT Valley Road. (Route 231). Short Circuit horse shows
The Short Circuit series of horse shows kicks off April 18 at Rappahannock’s Bleu Rock Inn in Washington. Classes being offered include pleasure divisions, VPBA pony, children’s hunter, schooling and green hunters, as well as equitation divisions for juniors and adults alike. The first show is being judged by Tracy Mullin of Amissville. Show starts at 8 a.m. sharp. The series continues on May 9. Civil War Roundtable
Joe McKinney of Brandy Station will be the speaker at the Blue Ridge Civil War Roundtable on April 20 at the Rappahannock County Library.
