As a special feature of the Carla Theodore poetry reading on April 30 at the Ki Theatre, the “Burton, Miller & Theodore Trio"—a recently formed amateur string group—will provide a musical interlude to the program. Two members of the trio are, from left, Carla Theodore and Demaris Miller, practicing Pachelbel’s “Canon” suite. Steve Burton, who plays the cello, will also appear in the 7:30 p.m. recital. Tickets are $10 at the door.
