A quiet strength exists in Rappahannock of which few are aware. These are deeds performed by individuals who donate their time when the need arises.
Gloria Allen is a calm yet bold force in our community.
e started her volunteer efforts with the RSVP (Rappahannock Senior Volunteer Program) which was run very successfully by Jeanie McNear years ago.
When it ended, she looked for ways to stay involved helping others. If you haven’t needed help, you may not have met her.
