Linda Winder, who did the presentation, told the council they have over 20 years experience raising, training, riding and driving horses of all breeds.
“The last five years have been devoted to putting this business together and running it,” she said.
“From the beginning, our goal has never been to give carriage rides. Our goal has been to create a lasting memory,” she told the council.
She said they chose to bring their business to Little Washington because of its history and they thought “it would be an interesting addition to the history of the town.”
Winder said she has gotten a good response from some of the owners of the town’s bed and breakfasts
