Piedmont Softball Association’s very first 8 and Under All-Star team played its way to the runner-up position in the 2004 Virginia Babe Ruth District 3 AllStar tournament in Madison. This second-place finish earned the team the right to play at the Virginia State Babe Ruth Softball Championships hosted by Glen Allen.
By far the smallest team in both age and stature, PSA 8 and Under All-Star team played with grit and determination throughout both levels of tournament.
