There used to be a time not
so long ago that I could buy the Rappahannock News and actually read about events or people in Rappahannock.
Last week there were two articles about outside counties and quite frankly, outside of my interest. There was an article about a citizen in Fauquier County that would like to put a topless restaurant . in Warrenton. The exact same article was in the Fauquier Times-Democrat. I can understand if it is a worthwhile story of substance that will affect my family and neighbors then yes, please, write about it or borrow it from another paper. However this story was about a restaurant that Warrenton apparently will prohibit, so where’s the story in that? Particularly in Rappahannock, we all know it would be impossible for that type of restaurant here, so it’s not like he’ll try to move in on our county.
