This may come as a huge
shock to some people who know me and a much bigger shock to my system, but I’ll be participating in my first marathon, the big one: The Marine Corps Marathon being held in Washington, D.C. on Oct. 31.
That’s 26.2 miles, count them, 26.2 miles. During this grueling six-month program I plan to log in over 500 miles. My head spins just from my typing the words 500 miles.
