The preferred location for the carriage stand, the Winders contend, is a small side street between the post office and The Inn’s Shoppes because it is “easily accessible, readily visible and safe.” It is also advantageous because it is close to the front door of the Inn at Little Washington where the driver could easily determine if a guest is ready to return to a B&B.
they set up a meeting with Frazier two weeks ago, but he failed to show up. They arranged a second meeting this week, and Frazier called it off ahead of time. Another has been set for next week.
Frazier said that he agreed to meet with Cory Caufield and her husband and didn’t know it was going to be a group meeting with “a dozen or more people. Maybe somebody was trying to blindside me,” he said.
Nevertheless, he had taken medicine and fallen asleep and forgot the meeting. He acknowledged that the one this week was postponed and he said he has no firm date to meet with them. “Perhaps after the 24th,” he said.
Frazier said he usually meets delegations in some public forum and not a private home.
According to Edwards, the girls entered each of their tournaments as the youngest and smallest team, but they were not intimidated which allowed their coordinated team play to carry them to success. “The key to their success is the girls’ willingness to work hard and our firm belief that they can compete at this higher level,” he says.
VA Xtreme is a division of Xtreme Basketball, founded in 2002 by Edwards, to give children the opportunity to play basketball year-round, while developing their fundamental skills and understanding of the game. This is done by encouraging repetition of good habits while playing in a positive environment.
