The Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors shai hotel a public hearing to consider adopting an ordinance on Monday, January/, 2006, at 7tOQPM at the Courthouse in Washington, VA. The ordinance regulates and requires the maiagement of stormwater Hoiks in certain land davelopmant activities, and is specifically autoorized in §10.1-603.3. at saq. of the Code of Virginia. I960, as amended. The ordinance writ be consKtared in conjunction with amendments to the Zoning and Subdivision chapters of the Rappahannock County Code, which shall be considered in separate hearings held the same evening.
The purpose of this ordinance is to protect the health, satety and general weHaie of the ateens of the County and the Commonwealth of Virginia and to prevent water from being rendered dangerous to the health of parsons living in the County. The specific purposes at the ordinance are to.
