“I had to ask Coach to take me out. I was that tired,” Boelte said. “We’re still working on our offense against the press. We* just weren’t ready to be pulled into their game in the third quarter.”

The Panthers never got closer than 10 points the rest of the game.
“In the second half we took some shots too early in the possessions, and it hurt us,” Czekaj said.
Chad Morris led the Page County attack with 12 points, six in the third quarter. He also registered a pair of assists during the run.
Czekaj pointed out that many of his Panthers lack game experience, which forces him to use just seven or eight players a game. He hopes that once his younger players develop, they will be able to give Boelte and the other starters rest.
“The press wears you down,” Czekaj said. “We don't have the experienced players to play an up tempo style, but we’re hoping the kids on the bench come along. Right now, they are not ready.”
Hogan led Rappahannock County with 10 points. Tupper finished with nine Rappahannock County returns to action Friday night, hosting Luray in another non-district contest.
