Feb 21: RAWL
One of the most loving gifts you can bestow on your cat or dog is spaying or neutering. A special program of the Rappahannock Animal Welfare League allows you to do this at a cost much lower than usual. For fees of no more than $65.00 - some lower - your animal can be “fixed”. The procedure is done in Harrisonburg, but all you have to do is drive to the RAWL shelter in Amissville, at the landfill, to register and pay in advance. The next van load of pets goes on Wednesday, Mar. 5. Act now before the van fills up. Call the shelter at 540-937-3283 from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. seven days a week.
