Trenton Curry Burke, 86, of Culpeper, passed away in Culpeper Regional Hospital, Monday, Feb. 18, with his wife, Margaret, of 62 years at his side.
Mr. Burke was born in Rappahannock County, Virginia November 8, 1921 to Guy Burke and Janie Evans Burke.
He served his country in the Coast Guard; enjoyed farming; was a life member of the V.F.W., the American Legion and the Moose Lodge; retired from Safeway, the Culpeper County Sheriff's Office and worked at many of the water plants in central Virginia.
Surviving Mr. Burke is his wife Margaret of Culpeper, Virginia; his sons, Richard Burke and his wife Janice of Rixeyville, Virginia and David Burke and his wife Kwisok of Fairfax, Virginia; two grandchildren, and five greatgrandchildren.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Clore English Funeral Home, 11190 James Monroe Highway, Culpeper, Virginia 22701, Saturday, Feb. 23, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. John Miller conducting the service.
The family will receive friends one hour before service time. Interment will be in Washington Masonic Cemetery.
