“When I realize the breadth of responsibilities of the CSWCD I am most grateful for the timely and helpful consultation by the executive director, Greg Wilchens. Greg came to our home and assessed the steep driveway with my husband, leaving behind suggestions for a difficult problem . It will take a little planning and some cash, but I am hopeful that we can prevent at least some of the crusher nm from washing into our little stream that feeds into the Thornton River. Our neighbor, Ronnie Dodson (987-9350), has taken state tests, is a certified Responsible Land Disturber (RLD) and can do the work for us. As you know the CSWCD is our county partner in the Clean Streams Initiative, runs the CREP program and so much more! CPR update
Twelve more Rappahannock County citizens will take a CPR class on Feb. 24 at the Sperryville' Volunteer Rescue Squad. Because of the overwhelming response to this free community service, please continue to call if you want to enroll and another class will be scheduled. Call Ray Boc 987-9706. Date for training to be announced.
